When it did happen, it felt like a full-circle moment. Not just because I got to talk with Angela and (most importantly) bring you her brilliance, but because the entire experience was the perfect reminder of what grit really means: showing up consistently, staying focused, and trusting the process. That’s why I’m sharing this story with you today. It’s the first work week of the new year, which is usually when those shiny resolutions we made start to collide with reality. It’s tempting to throw in the towel when progress feels slow, but grit isn’t about quick wins. It’s about finding what matters to you and sticking with it, even when the finish line feels far away. So, here’s my question for you: What’s one thing you’re working on that feels like it’s taking forever? Maybe this is your week to remind yourself that slow progress is still progress.
