There is an emotional toll to changing, so it's crucial to grant ourselves this permission. We can remind ourselves that it's not about being good enough but about becoming even better. Small, consistent changes are powerful, and we can strive to be better tomorrow than we are today. I think as educators we can be incredibly hard on ourselves, so let’s try to practice self-compassion while we continuously improve. To put my phone in focus mode, put it out of sight, and be fully present. To notice the good around me.
